Spring Camp

This unique 10 week camp allows children to connect with nature, grow alongside peers, and develop inquiries as to how our world works. Spring Camp will all take place in Marin Headlands on Saturdays. The weeks will build on one another, culminating in a thorough understanding of this local biome. We will explore forests and wetlands, go foraging and run countless experiments. We will visit museums and work with the local community on conservation projects. Walking into Wellness Education Camp seeks to create an extremely positive relationship with nature and learning. Our experience is hands on and fully immersive. We will create projects, run experiments, get dirty and help the community. Parents will receive a weekly blog update with our curriculum, how to further the learning at home, and of course, receive lots of pictures. Last session focused on how plants grow and create energy. We learned about plant structures and even the evolution of plants. This session will focus on trees and how they differ from flowering plants. We will learn about aquatic plants and spend a good amount of time learning about wetlands.

We will meet Saturdays 9am-3pm March 5th-May 21st (excluding Saturdays of breaks).
